BLACK SLAVERY

BLACK SLAVERY

A drum beat 10000 thousand years old
A way of communication
A span of wild life to choose for a meal
A house made of mud and straws
Fishing on lakes and the banks of the African continent
One continent full of African culture
More freedom less war

Wait….

New arrivals on the continent
Killing, enslaving and taking our people away
What can we do?
We fight but we fail
So we watch our parent’s, brothers and sisters disappear
We search, we cry but they can’t be found

The new arrivals take over
They start controlling us, they call us NEGROES
We can’t understand
They make us build houses for them
We over work, but get paid little

African woman moan
Hate, anger, fear and lifeless
Our children follow the footsteps of our parents
Our fathers work in mines
Leaving their children and wives a thousand miles

Our people struggle
They get beaten and get called NEGROES
Our freedom, our land, our animals
All gone
So called NEGROES join forces with each other
We fight but lose
They give us new promises
But they are unworthy
We F**KING get played
In a world of misery
I call it the BLACK SLAVERY
NEGROES still don’t get it
It’s now the 1960’s

NEGROES become BLACK
BLACK are now open minded, intelligent than a NEGROE
We fight for what our people wanted
We fight for freedom
We fight for our rights
We take over, this is our land
The land of beauty, peace and our African culture
We have suffered to get here
This land is ours but we share
I was, I am and I will always be an African
Born black, always black
