What does MONEY mean to you?

A couple of years ago when i was younger and i was in school, I thought money was everything. I saw music videos and I wanted that everything they had, but now it’s different. Most of these artists don’t have half of the things in their videos but they sing about it like it’s theirs.
In order to be successful you have to put in hard work because every cent is a hustle, and every hustle is a cent. In order to keep businesses running you have to invest a lot of time and sacrifice some of that luxury life you have in order to inject money into your business. When you get money don’t spend it anyhow, first think about how you going to use it.

You might be thinking, WHAT IS THIS GUY TALKING ABOUT??? WHAT DOES HE KNOW ABOUT MONEY??? Well I don’t know much about money. What I can say is that money doesn’t make the world go round, but people make money to make the world go round. It’s how we use money or how it uses us that makes the world go round. People need to understand themselves so that they can be able to make good decisions in life, because what you do today comes back to you tomorrow, even if you die today, the decisions you made yesterday will affect your family and friends today.

You know, every man is priceless, and it’s a shame when a person has a price (price-tag) on himself. Once a person has a price-tag he becomes worthless, don’t ever let anyone buy you with money. This has become very prominent among young male and females, especially with females. The cause of this is the "economy" as people refer it, but what about these rich or wealthy girls and boys that throw way their life because of the value of money. I know i can get a fine looking girl by flashing some money, but why would you accept me for money?? Is it our African situation??? MAYBE, but it happens everywhere. What am saying you can never ever live happy by going out with a man because of money. What happens when money is finished?? You will want to move away and go somewhere else huh?? True!!!! This is one of the reasons why the divorce rate in Africa is on the increase. It’s like prostitution, the only difference is that this is a "legal" prostitutions and its pretty common in colleges and schools, where young girls and boys go out with each other because his/her parents have money, or he/she can provide them with money, food and transportation. Once those things are gone, well, he/she moves away to someone who can offer better. That is why if you price yourself with money you will always be valued at that price or even lower, but if you are priceless (my brother or sister I tell you) you have a choice to choose a person that is worth more than just money, and that my friend is a relationship destined to be great. Forget trying to be cool with money, because when you don’t have money you will be nothing, but if you are who you are, who is going to question who you are, because money doesn’t make who you are. Understand???

I personally don’t like people who will do anything for money because people who love money will do anything for money (even kill you; it wouldn’t matter if you are a family, friend or stranger). I have seen people close to me get lost in money and get defined by it, but when the money goes they become nothing. One lesson in life, don’t ever get lost in money, don’t let money control you but be in control of you money. Money is like a drug, when you enjoy it, you want more of it. It’s not a crime to enjoy money, we all have the right to enjoy ourselves, but don’t let it cloud your judgment (there better things out there that don’t require money e.g. spending an afternoon at home with family).

I respect any person who has the will to do anything to feed himself, I get motivated everyday by those little kids crushing stones by the roadside just to get little money to feed themselves. That’s why I have opened my eyes to strive and be better than I was yesterday. Laziness is not a choice but a desire for the love of money that makes you dependent on others.
At the end of the day all I can say is, if you are given an opportunity to achieve your dream then chase that African dream and do this continent proud, because in life we only have one chance to live in it. At the same time know what you are worth and not money be worth you.

DONT LET MONEY CONTROL YOU BUT BE IN CONTROL OF MONEY.

You Are

You are my soundtrack,
You are my perfect chorus,
You are like a fresh cup of poetry,
Just the way I like, so original,
Yet, so hot like boiled water,
But I don’t want my lips to burn,
So I softly blow, just to get you in the right temperature,
So I could have a sip, or maybe a taste, even better, I could have the whole cup,

You give me inspiration,
You give me something to believe in again,
It’s like breathing air but you can’t see it,
It’s the way your eyes gaze at me, and then a smile follows,
It’s the way you carry yourself when am around you,
You can’t see it, but I can feel it,

You are,
You are………
That sunrise that lives a bright patch in my bedroom,
That sunrise I would like to heat up on, on a cold winter morning,
That sunrise that got me jumping out of bed to open up my window curtain,
That sunrise, which got me saying, it’s going to be a beautiful day.

It began with a kiss

That was me
That was you
Now it's us

We were apart
We became close
Now we together

It was one touch
That became one hug
And ended with a kiss

It began with a kiss
That brought us together
And now we are us
