I wish

its painful to see young girls all grown,

with no time for education, she got a job taking care of the kids at home,

she wishes she could have friends,

share secrets, have fun, hold hands,

but she stuck, so she wakes up early and sleeps late,

breaks stones on the side of the road, just to put food on the plate,

and at night when shes alone, she takes time a minute to cry,

so many questions, and she asks god why,

life is so hard, and why her parents had to die,

but she gets no answer,

life of poverty is an african cancer,

A million Reasons by Kadoko Mushinge Chanda

There millions of reasons to live,
There millions of reasons to die,
Why should we fight for our lives?
When we are living to die.

Is there a reason for me to be here?
When life is a phase am going through,
Our dreams are not always concurred,
Our lives are not always the way we want it to be.

This is a phase we going though,
We can cut our life short and relief our pain,
Why should we fight for our life?
When we are living to die.

Life is the reason I live,
Death is the reason I fight to life,
There was a purpose for me to be born,
There is a purpose for me to search why I was born.

Why was I born to live?
Why should we fight to live?
When we are living to die.
